Sorting subfolders

Is it possible to sort subfolders of a folder by the date the folders were
created?

After furious head scratching, happydude asked:

All folders in the folder list are sorted alphabetically. That's the only
sort available.
 
You can rename the subfolders as a date name. For example you have 3
subfolders. If you rename the first subfolder 20060415 the second
20060414 and the third 20060413 (yyyymmdd year-month-day) the folders
will be sorted by the date you write it as the name of the folder.
