Sorting rows AND columns

Hi,

I have a spreadsheet with both rows and columns of info. I wish to sort
one of the rows in ascending order and have the corresponding column info
follow the sort.

How can I do this???

not really sure what you want to sort and which columns? then should follow.
Could you give an example?
 
Highlight your data field, then

Data > Sort > Options > check "Sort left to right" > OK > then pick which
row you want to sort on and whether Ascending or Decending, then > OK
