Sorting Range that Contains Merged Cells

I am trying to sort a table where columns I & J are merged.

The header of the table is row 6 and row I6 & J6 are also merged.

When I try to sort the table I get the message "the operation requires the
merged cells to be identically sized"...

The merged cells are identically sized... although the row height's are not
the same I even resorted to trying this. I have tried un & re-merging them,
pasting formatting etc but nothing seems to work.

Is there a solution?

hi, i am not certain but have you tried opening a new file then copying and pasting your work onto that new file? hope it helps! xox
