apples

basic question.... when sorting a list you are usually able to click o
the column you want sorted and it will sort the entire list. in m
workbook, it is going out of its way to exclude the first row from th
sort. even when highlighting the entire list, excel will readjust th
highlight to exclude the first row. i've tried formatting the cell
and i've tried using apostrophes (').

any other suggestions

Do you have a blank row between that first row and the rest of the list? If
so, get rid of it.

Data>Sort> "My list has" "no header row".

Check if unchecked.
