sorting incoming email

I have several email addresses. How can I sort them so that when they come
into my inbox, they are sorted by the address that senders have used to send
to me? The problem I face is that if I send a message to someone and it goes
out with the wrong sending address from me, it can be embarrassing as I don't
want clients to know the other companies that I work with.

If you mean Reply, then Outlook automatically uses the account to which the
email was sent as its replying account. Sorting by email won't affect a NEW
message, as Outlook will send through the default account unless you change
it manually....

You can use rules for that. Also note that Outlook replies with the same
account the message was received with.

Why not create seperate folders and use rules to move received mail to the
appropriate folder.

There are I believe some addins, via slipstick.com, that may help with using
multiple accounts

That won't help the sending of new mail - Outlook automatically uses the
default account unless the user manually changes it.
