Sorting email names by last name when using "To:"?

Hi,

When I use the "To:" when creating an email, the recipients names are sorted
by first name. How I get the list sorted by last name? While on this same
subject - how can I select multiple contact names an use the "New message to
contact"? When I select multiple names - this is no longer a menu item.

The exact method depends on your version of Outlook, which you decided to
keep secret.

yes...yes I did. Actually found the answer in a couple of spots for 2000 and
2003. Thanks for response.
