I'm using Outlook 2003 and I have a user who's configured his Outlook to show
names from his Contacts first when he's addressing e-mails. He'd like to
sort these names by last name first but it seems to default to the "Name"
colum which shows first name first. Any advice?

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
