sort print queue

I send a lot of small print jobs to our printer, hold them in queue,
and then release them all to the printer once they are all in the
queue. Is there any way to sort the queue by document name so they
print in order? As it is, I have to add them into the queue one at a
time to get them to print in the order I want. If I dump them all in at
once, they do not seemed to be sorted in any way.

Create individual queues for each user, either on a server or on each PC,
then use the Pause/Resume feature in the queue to hold the jobs.
Go to: Start>Printers and Faxes>doubleclick the printer you
are using and click Help>Help topics. Scroll down to Print Queues and
see what features you have available.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't very clear about what I want to do.

I have a few hundred invoices I want to print, and I want to print them
in order of filename. If I simply drop them in the print queue, the
don't sort and I can find no way to sort them. Is there an easy way to
do this, or software that does it? As it is, I have to either drag and
drop each individual file in order or open and Print each individual
file in order. A tedious process.
