Sort by rows?

Can you sort information in excel by rows?

i.e. instead of sorting a column in alphabetical order, can you sort i
for accross rows in alphabetical orde

try the following:
- choose your range
- goto 'data - sort - Options'
- choose: 'sort by columns'

You can sort across a row.

Unfortunately can be done only one row at a time.

Select one row then Data>Sort>Options. Check "left to right".

My XL2k sorts as many rows as I select Gord,
All at the same time, just the same way it does columns.

You are correct.

Tested with a dozen rows, sort by Row 1 and all rows sorted left to right.
