Sony Phone Synch

Dear All,
I have been trying to install Sony Ericsson PC Suite which allows me to
synch my outlook contacts list with my K750i phone. The installation keeps
failing and I get the following error:
Internal Error 2753
setdbout.exe
I know the program works cos I installed it onto another machine without
problem.
Sony are useless and have no idea.
I run XP sp2.
I have tried registery fixers and reinstalled windows installer. Also
repaired the System Files using SFC, all with no luck.
Can anybody help me please? All I want to do is synch Outlook contacts with
my phone and it used to work but doesn't now.

I'm not sure if this will work but you can give it a try.
Try doing a clean boot then install the s/w in a clean boot environ. see if
that works

Hi Porkribs,
At first I tried an install of the SE software in safe mode (I know you said
clean boot but somehow that didn't get through to my brain!) and that didn't
work so I tried FMA phone software which is now doing what I needed so thanks
for your help anyway. I have to say though that's the FMA program is not
intuative and needs to be a bit more user friendly.
