SONY DWU-14A DVD Burner

I just put a new SONY DWU-14AB model DVD+-R in my new
Dell yesterday. It came OEM with no drivers, just a
watered down copy of Nero. I've now made two coasters
with DVD-R media trying to burn simple DVD movies as a
first attempt. In Windows XP the device is listed
with "SONY DVD RW DW-U14A" as the drive name, but the
drivers is from 7/1/2001. Seems there should be a better
driver available, so it sounds like a logical first fix
attempt.

SONY has no support pages for this model listed on their
site, and I've come up empty searching the Web.

Any ideas?

This drive is also known as DW-U14A. This is probably
the "preferred" name as this is how it's labeled on the
unit itself.
