Hi everyone,

Just about to fit a Sony DVD DW-D22A (dual layer) drive to my computer...

I'm not sure what sort of blanks to buy ?

What are the pro's/con's of -R & +R disks.

regards, Dave Porter

2 words - Recording speed. Cheap means you will have to burn at or below
what the disk is rated for. Cheap disk after some time may start to peel
apart. Stick to maxell, fuji, sony, etc. Grab some other media when you
see on rebate to test it out. If it's junk at least you won't be out of
much.
The plus and minus you can read about by googling for "dvd-r dvd+r
difference" (pretty obvious).

Thanks Ace,

I always buy the best quality ! - will do as you suggested for the
different type's.

regards, Dave
