Sony Cybershot Camera

At one time when I would plug my Sony Cybershot into my computer , the
camera/scanner wizard would pop up . This allowed me to rename the pictures
etc.. However now when I plug the camera in I just get it as a removable
drive. I am able to get the pictures off but have to manually rename them.

Any Ideas on how I might get the camera wizard to see the Cybershot as a
camera again ?

This might work...

Hook up the camera, then double click My Computer. Right click on the
drive letter representing your camera, and select Properties. Click the
AutoPlay tab. Select Pictures in the drop-down list, then select
"Select an action to perform" and "Copy pictures to a folder on my
computer using Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard". Click OK.

Incidentally, I also have a Sony Cybershot, and I use a Dazzle Memory
Stick reader. This lets me just pop out the Memory Stick from the
camera, and slide it into the reader, rather than having to hook up the
camera (this is a much bigger deal if you have more than one Memory
Stick to pull the pictures and/or videos down from). Memory Stick
readers can be had for under $20 (or even $9, if you get the Soyo):
