Sometimes I cannot drag & drop multiple Outlook Calendar items

Sometimes I cannot drag & drop multiple Outlook Calendar items to a new date.
Other times I can. Why would some items not be able to be dragged to another
date?

We don;t know without a more complete description of the variables in play when you can and can't do this.
