something's wrong with my sound.....

sound works when i turn on/off the compputer. but when i want to play music
or watch videos in you tube.com I can't hear anything. i have limewire pro,
when i click the song it won't play. when i go in you tube, the video plays
but i can't hear anything. but when i talk in msn, to other people it makes
that sound when you're talking to other people. what's wrong with my laptop??

Open Volume Control by r-click the sound icon next to the clock.
Now check if anything is Muted. Click Options and check Advanced
Controls to check all controls. If none are muted, then go to:
Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio>Audio tab>Sounds Playback
to see if your soundcard is installed. If not, get out your Utility disk
and install soundcard drivers, or go to the manufacturers website
to download them, they are free.
