Hi,

I am looking for an advanced editing software for sounds (radio work
etc.) Unfortunetly DDClip is very good but is shareware. The free
version has a lot of limitations. Can you recommend something similar?

Thanks,

Dario

GoldWave is my favourite. It is shareware too but has not any limitation

Yeah, GoldWave is a great program. One of only two or three
non-freeware programs on my PC (as the old TV ad for Gilette Razors
goes "I liked it so much I bought the company" - in my case, not the
company but a licence <grin>). As Clif said in his post though,
Audacity is THE freeware audio editor.

I use WavePad... May not be too great for your high end needs, but do check
their features list:

I found another program that may interest you and best of all it's open
source.

Have fun!
