someone please help

I had a power outage on feb. 19th and ever since my comp. has been very slow.
Can someone please help. I have done a disc clean up and tried to restore but
it will only let me restore for the 19th(not much help there huh?). please
help me with some suggestions. thanks.

Only thing I can think of you may have some corrupted files caused due to the power outage -
Introduction to using scannow sfc (system file checker)

Hopefully others will have further suggestions. Hopefully no damage was done to the hardware.
