Using Outlook 2k. I wrote a template and called it as an Auto-Reply through
the Rules Wizard. It sends it as the
rule instructs, BUT the recipient does not receive any of the body text! It
only contains the subject line at the other end and the email is blank Why?

Does this happen for just this single receiver or for everyone? When the
receiver looks at the source of the message is the text there? Also try it
in Plain Text.

It was happening to everyone. "Plain Text" was the answer! I thought I had
set it, but in editing and re-editing so many times during testing, I had
missed setting that correctly. I feel like a dope, but sometimes the
simplest things...ARGH!!!
Thank you again!

You're welcome! :)

Basically this means that there is something wrong in the way you render
HTML on your PC. Outlook uses Internet Explorer components for this.
Resetting/repairing Internet Explorer might solve the issue for you so you
can send HTML messages again.
