Somehow I turned off the Outlook Send/Receive drop down box

I accidentily turned off the Outlook 2007 Send/Receive Drop down box on the
Tools menu. Any idea how I can turn it back on? When I open Tools, then
highlight the Send?REceive button, no drop down appears.

There is no "dropdown box" there. Are you saying you have no flyout from the
Tools section on the Menu bar or no dropdown from Send/Receive on the
Toolbar?
Neither is an option you can just "turn off." Sounds to me like you
corrupted your Toolbar. How did you manage to do that?
 
You are right, there is no flyout box. "Drop Down" was the wrong term. I
did this by right clicking the Send/Receive option under the Actions menu and
deselecting the top "Option" box.

Can't you just customize the Toolbar to add it back?
