Somebody HELP!!!

Hello to all,

I locked my windows 2000 password before leaving work on
Wednesday, only to come on Thursday and my password is no
longer recognised. How is this possible and is there a way
around it? Administrator password too is not known but am
sure of my user password cos its what I use elsewhere.
Previously I had installed the sasser patch but after
installing, I have logged unto the computer more than
once. What could have gone wrong?

May be obvious, but have you checked the Caps Lock?

Two possibilities:
1) You're typing in wrong password. (Caps on maybe ??)
2) Someone found out your password and changed it.

Is your account locked out (if it's a domain account?)
Is this a desktop or laptop? Any chance it's on num lock
and typing numbers instead of letters? (laptop keyboards
do this to me all the time)
