Some websites unavailable

I have a PC and laptop connected via XP home networking. All runs fine
until I wish to view some websites on Laptop (client).

Many sites will load without problems, but some will seem to load to about
38% and take ages to do so, before returning the error message of
unavailable. I can view the same site on the host PC OK during the same
session.

www.microsoft.com is one such site.

Any ideas or suggestions will be helpful!

Cheers
