Hi there,

I'm new to this list. I have been developing embedded (SP1) images for quite
some time now, but I'm stuck with some problems that I think someone has
solved before.
1) which registry setting sets the flag that I don't want windows to
"optimize my screen settings"?
2) I want to chage some settings in the explorer as
2.1) display folders
2.2) don't automatically search for network folders and printers
2.3) display full path in the title bar
2.4) do not cache thumbnails
2.5) show hidden files and folders
2.6) don't hide extensions for known file types
2.7) don't hide protected operatin systems files
2.8) use simple file sharing
2.9) have detailed view on files
2.10) apply this to all settings
3) some toolbar settings:
3.1) have the "run" command be on the start menu (settings by user interface
core doesn't work)
3.2) auto-hide taskbar
3.3) show quicklaunch
3.4) use small icons
3.5) don't show outlook express
3.6) don't open submenus when I pause on them with my mouse
3.7) don't highlight newly installed programs
3.8) don't show printers and faxes
4) create shortcuts with component designer (CD)
5) share folders with CD

the list goes on ....

Where do I find decent documentation on my questions?

greetings, Rüdiger
