Some problem on installing VS 2005.

Mr. X.

This is a second post (for 2 first questions), since last week, since I
didn't see any replies, and there is a chance the thread was deleted.

Hello.
I want to install the visual source safe for VS 2005.
I have installed the VS 2005 with no source-safe.

The Visual studio's version is : Pro 2.0.50727.
The Windows' version is : XP pro.

1. I used before the source-safe database of : VS6.
Is the new visual source safe for VS 2005 is compatible for the older
version ?
2. Where is the source safe ?
Is it VSSetupWatson\DW20.exe ? (I didn't find any other file that it's name
is "*setup*" on the disk, except the main VS 2005 setup).
On which disk ?

Also :
=====
3. I cannot find api-viewer - (Not even on start -> program files -> visual
studio ... and all sub-folders) - Where is it ?

4. Syntax on dot net (VS 2005) is different from vs 6 - Where can I find
what is different ?

Thanks :)

Visual Source Safe is not part of VS 2005 Professional. Read here.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vs2005/aa718670.aspx

AFAIK, API Viewer is an add-in, not a basic part of VS 2005.

What syntax? Programming language syntax? If so, what language?
