Some Outlook 2003 emails are deleted 4 times as received - why?

Automatic delete with 4 copies in the delete file often occurs with replies
to emails I have sent and with some original emails from senders on my safe
senders and safe recipients lists, including safe senders' domains. I've
double checked and triple checked these lists and can't find any reason. Any
suggetions
 
Can you start your story from the beginning?
Sounds like you have multiple rules configured to delete messages when they
arrive.
