Some of my e-mails are not being sent or received.

All of a sudden some (just some) of my e-mails are not being sent OR
received. Items record as being sent in my Sent box. Why would this be? I am
not a techie, so please consider this when you reply.

I am having the same problem ever since I accepted the Windows update last
week. I am not receiving emails from specific senders even though I have
added these senders to my contacts. Any help would be appreciated.
