I'm running Windows XP pro with service pack 3. AVG, Panda Cloud,
SuperAntiSpyware all of which scan clean. I've Microsoft Maleware and found
nothing. I can get on the Microsoft site but I cannot download any security
updates. Most other security sites will not allow me to download anything.
Another item that is bugging me is the fact that I'll try to go to a link
site and my browser get hijacked to some other site. The site it goes to is
almost always different. The whole thing is driving me nuts.

What is the precise name of the Microsoft program you have run?

Please go to safety.live.com

and do a protection scan.

You may do better to restart in safe mode with networking and do that same
online scan.

This is not speedy, but from your description, it should find some things.
