Some JPG photos will NOT print right in Photo Printing Wizard

Some JPG photos (usually but not always small ones) will NOT print correctly
using the Photo Printing Wizard. The photo displays fine in 'picture
selection' but displays in 'print preview' and prints as jibberish like the
program can not decode the file.

The photos do display correctly in the 'contact sheet' option but NOT in
other options (ex: 1up, 2up, 3up ect.)

These same photos display fine in Windows Explorer and will print fine with
a program such as Ulead Photo Express 4.

I would just stick with the program that DOES work.

The Photo Printing Wizard has the options that we want to use and interfaces
well with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. It would be inconvient to have to
use 'another' program. If possible, I would like to get the wizard to work
'all the time'.

I'm thinking you need to install WinXP SP1a...

I have SP1a and all other maintenance applied. You cannot install 318955 on
top of SP1a. The problem happens on both HP Deskjet 722c and HP Deskjet
870cse. What prints is exactly displays in 'print preview' in the wizard.

The printers and thier drivers have been installed for a long time. I am NOT
experiencing any other printing problems

The photos will print correctly using Ulead Photo Express and Creative PC
CAM Center.

I believe that the problem is with the Photo Printing Wizard.

I do not know what was wrong with the 'JPG' files but I have found a way to
'fix' them so that they will print using the Photo Printing Wizard. You can
load the 'JPG' into Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and then use the 'Copy
To' to copy the file on top of itself.
