Full error message is

access was denied

I am trying to move emails from my exchange inbox to a local pst folder and
this is the error I am receiving..
Anyone have any ideas on a quick fix?

Hi Wilo,
have found this article, maybe it could solve your problem
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891504/en-us

Thnks Andreas.
I did read this article after I posted the query.
Exhange server is not 2003.
I guess that maybe the problem...
Any other thoughts..

Willow

Doesn't look related to me as otherwise the Exchange server would have gone
down.

Tips of the month:
-FREE tool; QuickMail. Create new Outlook items anywhere from within Windows
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data

How big is the pst-file? Scanned it for errors already?
How many mails are you trying to move at once?
Are you using Cached Mode or not?

In a lot of cases this error also goes away when emptying the Deleted Items
folder as a move is basically a copy and (permanently) delete.

Did a repair, not cache mode.
the error message then changed to ....the folder has reached its limit.
Created a new pst folder...
so problem solved..

thanks for all the help
