some display properties arent saved

I recently got a new computer (other than this one). But
everytime I try to change certin display properties, they
won't stay changed when I turn the coputer off.
Specifically the "show window contents when dragging"
option in the Apperence, Effects section. I've also
tried to change it through the System Properties,
Advanced, Performance, Settings method. And also, more
times than not, my screen saver properties aren't saved.
Someone please help.

Make your changes, then run this edit.

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
