Some desktop icons are blacked out.

When I booted my computer some of the desktop icons were blacked out. They
still have the same shape, except they dont have any color. The same is true
for the corrosponding icons on the Start>Programs menu and in the C:/Program
Files/ "program name" folder.

How to I get the color to return to the icons?

Try Repairing them using TweakUI|Repair then select Rebuild
Icons from the dropdown.
