solution for updating the 1.14.1408.8 update

This is the solution i found for updating my WD definitions.

It seems i had an early version of WD and could do nothing to update my
definitions with the latest update 1.14.1408.8.ONLY thing that worked for ME
was to download the latest version of WD which is the 1.1.1347.0 and
uninstall the previus one i had.

After the installation of the 1.1.1347.0 version of WD my situation was
Windows Defender Version: 1.1.1347.0
Engine Version: 1.1.1303.0
Definition Version: 1.0.0.0

then i updated the definitions and now my situation is
Windows Defender Version: 1.1.1347.0
Engine Version: 1.1.1372.0
Definition Version: 1.14.1408.8

This is confirmed and worked for me too.

Old Beta 2 windowsdefender.msi = 6715392
New Beta 2 windowsdefender.msi = 5763072

After the installation of the newer file, I now have an
x86_microsoft.vc80.crt, which I posted about yesterday in another thread.

Looks like they changed compilers or something and forgot about the
dependencies, and once the update mechanism was broken, the only way to fix
it was to uninstall, download, and re-install a newer version which included
the missing file(s).

I would think that the ppl at the top weren't too happy about this little
incident.
