We downloaded it years ago, and it still probably gets opened on the
family computer more than any other program we have!

Are you saying that you have winxp and it works great on it? I had it on
win98 winme and loved it but have been leery of trying it on win xp.

I would be glad to donate IF I knew it would work on WINXP. I need
more assurance that it works on XP--the one response was not enough.

Why not try it -- it's small to download, easy to install, doesn't screw
up the OS and free!!

And on my computer, it works.

Maybe you could download it and try it out, and _then_ donate if it works
and if you still feel like it?

....wondering if "Solitude" is FULLY compatible with WinXP = YES also on my
PC.

But is your computer running WINXP? I am not good with messing with xp and
trying to fix it if a software program shakes or tries to break it up.

I downloaded, installed, and played a few games on my XP Home, and had
no problems

yes it is running XP, and the software doesn't install in such a way as
to cause any problems.

It works!!! Thanks a bunch to all of you that responded. I wrote the
author, Dave Bernazzani, and he said that he knew of people using it on XP,
but he had win98 so couldn't say, so now I can write to him and tell him it
works (and donate to him via PayPal!)
