I have 3 home PC's with 2 running XP Pro and 1 with XP Home. We all connect
to the interned per DSL. We do not share files, internet connection sharing,
etc...On my machine, Sony PCVRS410 120G, is it necessary to have all of
these accounts
(all users, default user, owner, shared and my account with my name).
Therefore, I have my documents in 3 places, shared documents, owners
documents, etc...I would appreciate any advice you can give me. I do not use
a password to log on and do not use faster user switching.

You do not have the actual files in three places. Each user account has
his own My Documents. The Owner account was probably created when the
computer was set up. If you aren't using it, you can delete that
account from the User Accounts applet in Control Panel.

Shared Documents is a system folder where you can place data that you
want available to all user accounts (if there are multiple users). You
don't have to put anything into it.

Leave the other accounts alone since they are system accounts (except
for your own personal account naturally).
