The Eclipse

No Ian

Really disappointed, not visible where I live altough there were some really good photos on the news. Didn't see much of the 'big' 1999 eclipse either - quite cloudy at the crucial moment!!

Same here :(

When it passed over here it was pretty dark and cloudy anyway - an eclipse probably wouldn't have made that much difference!

Whereabouts? I lived in Gidea Park, albeit briefly. Currently in Purfleet.

To be precise.....12 Ainsley Avenue, Romford. Very near Cottons Park and the Dog Track. Went to St Edwards RC School and when that closed, we moved to the new St Peters RC School. Prior to that lived at Doddinghurst Road, Chelmsford and was born in St John's Hospital, Chelmsford.

Small world isn't it???

Missed it, bugger! But got some very nice views of the big one in 1999, very spectacular and rather spooky.
