I recently purchased Windows XP Home Edition, which came
without Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Is there an
economical means (source) to get these products without
paying another $200+?

Thanks in advance, Ron.

Yes, use StarOffice, or OpenOffice, instead. For all practical purposes,
they work very well, and allow you to open, and save, MS Office compatible
formats.

Greetings --

Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.
