Software to creat a disk image as a backup....

Hello.
Does anyone knows a good program to do that?
In order not to format and take at least 2 hours to install al software in a
machine and then the hassel of calling microsoft to register again the
software, it would be much more easy to just creat an image from the disk as
a backup.
I already tryed norton ghost but didn't liked it.
Something that suports SCSI.
