Software Installation Problem

I cannot install my several programs from a CD rom, my installation don't
proceed instead a pop up window " 16 bit Windows Subsytem" , I receive a
dialoge " C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32AUTOEXEC.NT. The system fie is not suitable for
running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications".
I have to select either to Close or Ignore the message. But both terminate
the installation procedure.
Any clue please? >>>>>>[email protected]
 
See if this helps..
copy autoexec.nt from c:\windows\repair then paste it to
c:\windows\system32.
