Anyone can help with these 2 problems following the install of the BETA
version of new release of Microsoft Office:

1 - INSTALL

Whenever I try to install a new program ... I get the following messaeg:

The Access path to My Former D-Drive contains an Invalid character.

This folder no longer exist for over 2 months!!!!This D drive used to be in
my computer and it used to be a data drive only! I had put all the data from
that drive on this folder before I removed it.

Out of that issue, I can't install many applications (eg.: the new version
of I-Tune).

2 - UNISTALL/DELETE

When trying to remove MS Office or some other MS apps. the unistall will not
work and I have a message saying so.

Trying to fix this problem, I dowloaded Window Installer Clean-Up but it
won't install (for a different reason that what I explained in the first past
of this question). I receive the message:

ClassFactory cannot supply requested class

Wrong group. Try asking here or look for an office beta group.

Very helpfull Dave ..... Wrong reading of my question ...

MS Office Beta has been installed this is true ... ... but my problem
really is with Win XP... . Since the MS Office BETA has been installed ....
the Win XP installer ... unistaller will no longer work with any new or
existing applications!

Since the apparent damage was caused by the beta installation my suggestion
still applies. Don't ever install beta software on a production machine.
