i am getting an error message in the event view under "system"
i really don't know what file is missing, or how its missing, but here is
the error message:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7000
Date: 6/7/2006
Time: 6:09:18 PM
User: N/A
Computer: E-MACHINE
Description:
The Software Cinemaster NT4.0 Driver service failed to start due to the
following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
i think this may be releated to a reoccuring problem that i usually resolve
by reinstalling windows xp, but i would like to try to fix it.
the problem i notice is that i have an unusually long boot up, and i have
been tring to diagnose where the trouble is. i have disabled all start up
options, and all NON- microsoft services. the problem is still present and i
really think it has to do with the error i have above.
any ideas or thoughts??
thanks!!!!!!
