Socket Error: 10060

BlankCan anyone tell me what this means. My mail was working fine until I
rebooted and now I get the following error when I check mail:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'wes', Server:
'mail.isp01.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

A gentleman named of Tom in the msn.discussion newsgroup suggested that the
HOSTS
file should be checked to see if it is causing errors for an MSN user, and
he was right.
Good on you Tom. The error was the generic Socket Error: 10060, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0E.

Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
