Snapshot viewer

Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to show shed
some light on this problem...I haven't been able to find a
resolution anywhere else.

The products I'm using are Access 2002, Snapshot Viewer
10.0, and PowerPoint 2002.

I run an Access report, then Export the report to a *.snp
snapshot file. I then Insert Object in PowerPoint from
existing SnapShot file and click OK. It inserts part of
my report. When I double click on the Object to resize
the Object field turns completely blue and my report is
gone. Returning Focus to the presentation no longer shows
my snapshot object report - only a blue square.

I have tried Linking to the snapshot file when inserting
the object - that avoids the report from "disappearing"
however I am not able to Resize my snapshot. Exporting my
report as Excel, RTF, or HTML does not work because of
specific formating in the report.

I appreciate any help/suggestions. Please email. Thanks.

I have had very good luck with a free pdf writer,
Here is one great pdf maker/printer driver. It is
absolutely Free, And free means no watermarks, no nag
screens, no annoying Popup advertisements, no time limits
etc. http://www.acrosoftware.com/ and than go to cutepdf.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion; however, when inserting a pdf into a PowerPoint presentation it inserts as a clickable icon . My hope was to be able to insert the report or a snapshot of the report. I guess I'll resort to PrintScreen since I can't get Snapshot to play nice with PowerPoint.

You can use the ReportUtilities on my site to generate an Enhanced
Metafile, one for each page of the Report, and then insert these
directly into PP. The resulant EMF's are fully scaleable and resolution
independant.
