Snapshot Viewer incorrect file type

I am using Access2000 and e-mail report with Snapshot format selected. The
report is being sent as an Excel file (.xls) instead of .snp. The Snapshot
viewer has been re-installed - same problem. Any suggestions???

The Snapshot "Viewer" has nothing at all to do with the creation of Snapshot
files. As the name suggests it is the program used to view them. See link
below.
