Smooth scrolling

I recently reinstalled XP and I cant get smooth scrolling
to work again like it used to. I go to Internet Options,
then the Advanced tab and tick "Use smooth scrolling" and
press apply and close Internet Options. I've even tried
restarting the computer after this. Why does smooth
scrolling not take effect once I've ticked it in Internet
explorer????

you might try upgrade your display drivers. If you just use the ones built
into XP something it will not scroll smooth.
