All,

Just a quick note here. I never seem to see much in this group for
developing for Smartphone 2003 (Windows Mobile). Just wanted to know
what people think of this platform as I see it being very big in the
next year or two.

Using the CF for windows Mobile 2003 vb,c# developers can knock the
spots of what any symbian based developer can do now and as far as I
can tell in the near future.

I am currently developing a app for the next version of Smartphone
with the CF installed on the rom and amazed at what can be done. Has
anyone willing to share info on the types apps they are developing
their views on this great platform?

Anyway hope to hear some good stuff.

One of the reasons is that code-wise developing for smartphone with .NETCF
is no different to Pocket PC or Windows CE.NET devices (with the obvious
exception of the UI controls). You'll also find that smartphone specific
discussion takes place in the microsoft.public.smartphone.developer
newsgroup too - you might want to subscribe to that too if you don't
already.
