Smart Tags, switching them off?

Hi

I have Word 2002 in work, is anyone aware of any way to switch smar
tags off...permanently?

I use 2000 at home and prefer it...task panes, drawing canvas and smar
tags...don't like any of them! I've been striving to make the interfac
as close to 2000 as possible, but have been unable to get rid of th
annoying smart tags (including the 'paste' one!!)

Any help would be most appreciated

Tools => AutoCorrect Options => Smart Tags (tab)

You will still have to clean up individual documents that have smart tags by
clicking on the "Remove Smart Tags" button. That button seems to only be
enabled if there are smart tags in the document.
