Smart media formats

I have a digital camera, an older model by Olympus...
The C-820L, i believe it uses a VFAT file system, but the smart media used
in it, i have formatted to FAT by mistake, both my computers can only format
in FAT.
How can i reformat the smartmedia to VFAT from my computer?
Do i need special software?

Any help would be great...

Try using the camera to reformat the card.
