small vertical line when I use "shift" key in capitalizing.

Can anyone help me on this...

I don't know, except that the exact same thing has started
happening to me with the left shift button only, and only on one
laptop. I have been assuming it's a keyboard issue, but haven't
checked it out yet.

In the meantime, I created a script to search and replace the mark
with nothing, and attached it to an icon.

If you find that it's not a keyboard problem, would you please post
back?
