Small icon beside URL

please if you visit this web http://software.banpro.net/ you will find icon
on the left hand side of the URL bar so how can I create it in my web.

I just did everything but if I add the site to my favorites the icon will
appear beside the url but if I didn't add it to the favorites it will not
appear so may I ask you to help

IE will only display the icon, if you add the URL to your favorites. There is nothing that you can
do change this.

Please I need some help to make the index for the writers name in my web to
be as is

A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z
So when I click on any letter like A it takes me to the page which has the
writers starts with letter A with their articles.

favicons are notorious for being unreliable in IE.

set it up best you can but dont waste too much time on it. I have one setup
for www.aussienymeetup.net if you want to take a look.
