I've just installed XP Pro and I've noticed that anything
that scrolls does so sluggishly.

Scrolling down a web page, an MSN window, a text
file...you name it, its sluggish and lags a lot.

Any ideas what could be the cause?

Visit the support website of the manufacturer of your video card,
search for Windows XP drivers, download and install them.

If you have a notebook PC, then visit the notebook manufacturer's
support website and download the Windows XP video adapter drivers.

Afterward, right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Setting and adjust your Screen Resolution
settings, then select "Highest (32 bit) Color Quality setting,
and click "apply".
