Slow, very slow perfomance wiy\th linked paradox tables

I have an application on Access 97 with three linkied
Paradox tables. I have a query that makes a join and its
performance is great.

But when doing the same on Access 2002, the performance
is just terrible, it hasn't finished!! I've always had to
stop the process because it takes long!!!.

I have BDE installed and in theory all service packs are
installed on my computer.

Does anyone know something about this???

Could be a network issue between your computer and the computer with the
Paradox tables.
